Children’s Museum of Curacao
Nestled in trees at the edge of the woods, Children’s Museum Curacao is a vibrant community resource for the children and families living on the Dutch island of Curacao in the southern Caribbean Sea. Located in a beautiful mid-century modern house, the museum offers an instant feeling of warmth and welcome for all visitors. The openness of glass walls and high ceilings entices children to easily make connections to the surrounding natural environment.
The exhibit zones inside the museum provide an array of experiences that mix science, language, engineering, culture, math, role-play, creative problem solving, and the arts in ways that are new and exciting to Curacao’s young children. The interactive exhibits are complemented by a robust schedule of educational programs that engage the minds, muscles and imaginations of the museum’s visitors.
Ganymede Design Group is currently engaged in developing a series of outdoor exhibits and experiences that will greatly increase the museum’s ability to better accommodate the larger than anticipated number of eager visitors.
