HUNTU – A Playground for All
HUNTU – A Playground for All is a multi-faceted, accessible playground designed and developed by Ganymede in collaboration with staff at the Children’s Museum Curacao in the sunny Caribbean. It was installed in spring of 2022 and opened to the delight of the entire community.
The playground seamlessly integrates outdoor exhibits into the lush backyard environment, providing several interactive experiences that are truly accessible to all. Huntu invites children to create their own adventures whether in the water play area or on the zipline that accommodates children of all abilities. As you propel yourself along the roller table or find your way through the hanging garden of pool noodles on the boardwalk, your senses are awakened. User-friendly pathways accommodate wheelchairs and weave through the exhibits inviting all to engage, collaborate, and communicate. Welcome to Huntu!
